Big Cable Ties - Where to get them from?

Iv been asked to put up some temporary signs on lamp posts / gates etc iv seen schools and other places with quite big black cable ties (about 1cm across) on their gates and on lamp posts. where can i get them from?

1. Check a place that sells heating and air conditioning supplies. They sell them for use with duct insulation. Hope this helps.
2. They're rather costly and can be found at Home Depot. Really big ones are sold in the Water Heater isle. They are sold there to be used to hold insulation wrap around a water heater. 3. Most electrical supply stores have large size cable ties but they are not cheap. You are probably better off to join a couple of the cheap ones you get at Home Depot or some other such place, together. The cheaper ones are not UV resistent but would do fine for your application.
4. you can put smaller ones together to make them longer
5. Don't bother buying the big ones. They're outrageously expensive. Just join a couple or three shorter ones.
