Black Cable Ties

Is it legal in NSW Australia to have your bumpers on your car held on mostly by cable ties?

When replacing bumpers, most of the little plastic clips snapped. So I have resorted to the awesome cable tie to do most of the load bearing. Will this pass rego? It is a plastic bumper and is fairly light, nothing the cable ties can't handle, but is this legal? It is nice and sturdy as it was before.

1. Cable ties are fantastic but it won't pass rego if it is visible, if missed by the mechanic, then maybe.
